Learn about the new regional calling zone at www.notoll.org
The Southern Oregon EAS Region Advisory Panel has unveiled a new website, http://www.notoll.org/, to educate consumers about a proposed regional calling zone. This zone would allow callers in Jackson and Josephine counties and Glendale in Douglas county to make calls within the zone without incurring long-distance charges. Estimated monthly fees for the zone will be released in October. The website for the calling zone offers more in-depth information including maps, exchanges, and a schedule of implementation.
