The Third Annual Business Resource Fair is Coming
Medford, ORE— The third annual Rogue Valley Small Business Resource Fair, sponsored by local non-profit, business and government organizations is coming to the Rogue Valley. A similar fair is in its tenth year in the Portland area and has become an important and successful community event. The fair will take place on Saturday, October 15 from 9:30-2:30 at Rogue Community College’s Medford Campus in Building G on the corner of 8th and Central.
The Rogue Valley Fair’s purpose is to provide existing and potential business owners and managers with access to information and key resources needed to succeed. A variety of seminars on important business topics (for instance, taxes, insurance, financial options etc.) will be offered, as well as one-on-one exhibitor counseling. The exhibitors represent government, non-profit, and business organizations, which serve the local business community. The entire event is planned at no charge to the exhibitors or the business guests!
The fair’s steering committee consists of representatives of Southern Oregon University School of Business and Small Business Development Center, The Job Council, Oregon Employment Department, Southern Oregon Telecommunications and Technology Council, SCORE, Oregon Employer Council, Freedom Financial, Inc., SOWAC Training and Lending Center, The Heart of Medford, Internal Revenue Service, and the state Small Business Ombudsman.
